YOU CAN’T CATCH ME, I’M THE GINGERBREAD MAN!
Join your favorite holiday cookie at the 3rd Annual Gingerbread Man 5k Dash on December 7th at 8:30 a.m. at the Heritage Landing Sports Complex. The real Gingerbread Man will be out running amuck around the course…catch him if you can! Holiday socks, hats and general candy cane striped attire are encouraged. Pets are also welcome!

This family fun run is quickly becoming the run of the season in St. Johns County. Participants will enjoy a beautiful, safe course with awards for both runners and walkers. At the finish, enjoy a Gingerbread Man cookie (of course) from Amaretti Desserts along with great eats and drinks from Dunkin’ Donuts (thanks 210 location). Everyone receives a great Tee with our all new logo (original Gingerbread Man got a facelift) and custom medal.
PRIZES? DO WE HAVE PRIZES?
Hundreds of dollars in prizes will be awarded to top finishers and, as always, age group awards will be presented to include a walking division, encouraging all fitness levels to participate. Massages, dinners, gift certificates and more! Plus all age groupers get to take to the awards podium and receive a $10 off gift cert from Jacksonville Running Company – now that’s some good news for holiday shopping season.

Did we mention that your 4-legged friends are welcome? Dog treats provided for all furry finishers by our friends at Bartram Trail Vets and your pup even gets a medal! NOTE: Please do not encourage canines to go after the Gingerbread Man.
